Born in Lynchburg, VA., March 20, 1966, he was the son of Paul Dillard Trent and Betty Holt Trent. In addition to his parents, he is survived by a sister, Lisa Trent and a special aunt and uncle, Martha and David Lawrence, along with other relatives and friends.

 

He graduated from E. C. Glass High School, Lynchburg College with honors and Wake Forest University School of Law. Mr. Trent  was a member of the NC State Bar, and was the co-owner of FrickTrent PLLC Law firm along with Tracy Frick with offices in Charlotte, Rock Hill, SC and Fort Mill, SC.
